How did I get my name?
I was born with the hiccups. The first time my daddy saw me, he was horrified. He told everyone who would listen that I was the ugliest baby he had ever seen and that I sounded just like a cricket. Since that day, I have always been known as Cricket.

I have been working on my website and after doing a search for some examples of personal sites I stumbled upon yours.
Many years ago while backpacking on the AT, perhaps 1999 or 2000, I came across a hiker with the trail name of Cricket. Might you be that same hiker? She was hiking with a friend but I don’t remember the friend’s trail name.
