Our Photo Journey

I’m Gonna Let It Go

Day thirty of our photo journey …

The sun was beginning to set on the final day of our photo journey, when I realized that our journey is not coming to an end, but rather it has just barely begun.

The Road Ahead

We don’t know where the road in front of us will lead, but we do know that we are ready to move forward with our lives.

As we headed back to the house, Tim McGraw’s new song, Let It Go came across the radio with perfect timing.

Hearing his voice sing the words, today, I’m gonna keep on walking, I’m gonna hold my head up high, I’m gonna leave it all behind, today, I’m gonna stand out in the rain, let it wash it all away, I’m gonna let it go, I suddenly knew that we were ready to let it go.

We are going to put it all in God’s hands.

I know you may be ready to quit this photo journey, but I’m going to miss it!

Martha, we have had so much fun doing it that I have a feeling we will continue with it at least a few days a week. 🙂

What a wonderfully appropriate photo! Even if you don’t continue to keep your photo journey online you should still try to keep one. When you feel yourself falling backwards you will have a wonderful way of helping yourself find your way back on track.
Thanks for sharing it with us thus far.

It was an incredible photo odyssey. I was so pleased to vicariously participate on your journey. They say you can change your life by doing something positive every day for 30 days. The very best moving forward.

One of the things that made this so special for us was having y’all right there beside us all the way through our journey.

    Thank you! 🙂

I was gonna say that I’d be happy to walk down that road with you for a bit. But, somehow, I think all of your coffee shoppers have been with you all along. 🙂
Thanks for the ride….I’ve enjoyed the view!

There is a saying that goes something like you’ve really gotten it when you realize that it isn’t the letting go that hurts (when you’re at the end of your rope) but the holding on… Love that song by the way!!
