When Darkness Prevails

When darkness prevails I am usually tempted to crawl back under the covers and stay there until I have no choice but to come out.

Life doesn’t work that way though, does it?

It is during these times that I find myself searching for light – any light.

Even the darkest of days it can be found…

Road Trip Blogging

It’s 20 minutes before the deadline of day two of 365 Project Blogging and I am still riding in a Ford Expedition about 40 minutes from the hotel.

Sounds like a perfect time to learn how to blog from my cell phone, right? Granted, it is a whole lot slower and the grandkids fussing next to me are definitely a distraction but I made a comittment to do this, so here I am.

Remember when I mentioned that sometimes my posts will be nothing more than jabbering? Well, this is going to be one of these times. (grin)

I promise to do better tomorrow.

It’s What You See

I woke up so excited for 365 Project Photography and 365 Project Blogging because I have desperately needed something to start feeling inspired again.

Of course, Mother Nature decided to offer me the darkest and dreariest possible day to begin this new quest.

Ya know what though?

I am okay with that.

As it turns out, it’s all a matter of what we see.

“It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” Henry David Thoreau

What I see is new beginnings regardless of what stands in my way this year.
