Black, White, And A Little Random

Cricket Walker

Wandering through thousands of images I have taken over the years, I have begun to understand how much of my personality and mood come through in my shots. Perhaps my photography is how I express who I am. Or perhaps, it is something seen and recognized only by me, quiet moments of introspection. It seems ironic that in my search to find magic in the world, it is me I have begun to discover.

My shots become much more random…

Yeah, definitely more random…

Black and white pictures don’t necessarily reflect sadness or dark and dreary moments.

Perhaps because I also find beauty in the darkness…

  1. Sometimes, the only way to look at life and see the beauty is through a lens. Your photos here, they stop time, not in the sense that photos stop time by capturing a single frame, but in the sense that along with your editing, you capture the entire moment, you tell a story, through just a photo.

What can I say, I’ve always loved your work though rarely comment, but as always, stunning, just stunning photos Cricket. My 23 favs, the first and last. That first one, so much expression, it’s mind blowing! Would actually love a high res version to use in an upcoming project of mine but I’ll save the begging for another time 🙂
